Azulene is a fragrant compound isolated from the steam distillates of the members of the Asteraceae family. This family of plants contains member such as Chamomile (var. Chamomilla species), Yarrow Flower (Achillea millefolium), or Blue Tansy (Tanacetum anuum).The compound Azulene is an unmistakable deep blue color. Our Azulene is sourced from Chamomile and the botanical Chamomile contains a wide variety of active constituents (depending on the species).
